Artificial stone flooring was created for this project using stone forms cut from ¼” luan, glued to a plywood base. RIMspray was applied in the correct thickness to shape the plywood shapes into very believable stones. The photos show the paint work in progress.
Another aspect of this project was a large “stone” carved city that created the backdrop of one of the scenes. The artists of Scenic Art carved each piece in Styrofoam and we very carefully sprayed RIMspray to create a hard surface and a stone look. They were then painted to create the finished effect.
